The wonderchild within us
BIRTH OF OUR FIRST FEATURE FILM
Meeting Praniti and her family for the first time was unforgettable. As a longtime fan, I had watched her YouTube performances repeatedly, mesmerized by her incredible voice. Witnessing her talent firsthand, I realized she had the makings of a natural actor, effortlessly channeling a range of emotions.
Her parents, Praveen and Priya invited me home and Praniti greeted me like a daughter, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she said, "Uncle! I am going to play this for you." At the piano, she played a fantastic tune, and Praveen noted, "She is touching it after two months." It was a moment of connection, joy, and shared affection.
Our creative journey began with recording a song I wrote in English, marking the start of a wonderful collaboration.

I was exploring a film idea at the time, having previously created a pilot about a father-son relationship. Inspired by Praniti's talent, I envisioned a daughter-father story that could evoke deep emotions on screen. The time I spent with Praniti and her family—helping with homework, going to the mall, or driving her to school functions—were cherished moments that strengthened our bond.
The project evolved into a full-length feature, highlighting the unique bond between a daughter and her father. It delved into themes of love, family dynamics, and the brilliance of human relationships. Praniti’s rendition of "Kannaana Kanney" from *Viswasam* (with over 39 million views) inspired one of our potential titles for the film.
Sambath Krishna, who previously assisted Director Bala on the cult classic Pithamagan, brought us a beautifully crafted story, which is shaped by an exceptional creative team.
Prasanth, who assisted on Itharkuthane Aasaippattaai Balakumara and Kashmora, has been instrumental in developing the screenplay and takes care of multiple departments, serving as the project’s lifeline.
Editor Abishek, our most versatile team member, has contributed significantly to nearly every department. Award-winning cinematographer Sam K. Ronald, another invaluable team player, not only handles the visual artistry but also assists in various departments and administrative tasks.
Bharath steps in seamlessly for Sam whenever needed, while Tamizhselvan, an assistant director and talented designer, brings his creative flair to the team. Arun Vijay, who acts, served as assistant director and played a key role in casting, proving to be an incredible discovery. Pranithi’s father plays a key role in marketing and post-production. Her mother has been a steadfast support, ensuring each song is polished to perfection and contributing to Pranithi’s outstanding performance.
There are many more talented individuals, and I look forward to featuring them on our movie page soon.
Praniti's presence added warmth to my fatherly longing for my own daughter who waited at home while we filmed outdoors. Watching Praniti tackle homework and helping her as a father would, transformed my time on set into an unexpected blessing. The shared moments during filming forged a distinctive and heartening connection.
Beyond her acting talent, Praniti has also brought two songs to life with her beautiful voice. Our movie features four songs, each named after her character, Seetha.
1. Seetha's Birth
2. Seetha's Love
3. Seetha's Challenge
4. Seetha's Devotion
If I had to choose between having Praniti in my life or featuring her in my films, I'd choose her presence without hesitation.
Luckily, I don't have to make that choice. Praniti will be part of all our movies in various roles, and for that, I am immensely grateful. Here's to my newfound daughter and to welcoming many more like her into my fortunate life.
